If desired by employers or physicians our Physical and
Occupational Therapists can provide pre-employment physical
capabilities testing. These exams provide the employer with
physical information about prospective employees specific to the
job tasks the employee must perform. The testing includes detailed
information regarding the potential employee's past medical
history, a detailed physical regarding strength, range of
motion, balance, and cardiovascular endurance to work tasks,
evaluation of material handling tasks tested to an occasional level
(up to 33% of the work day) or a frequent level (up to 66% of the
work day) and evaluation of non-material handling tasks to include
standing, walking, bending, reaching forward and overhead,
squatting, climbing, kneeling and crawling. When possible, these
tests are customized to specific job descriptions as directed by
the employer.
