PHOENIX Rehabilitation Welcomes New Facility Director to Lead Team in Wilkes-Barre

(Wilkes-Barre, PA)-PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc. announces the appointment of a new facility director for its outpatient clinic located at 685 Carey Avenue in Wilkes-Barre (at Crossroads in Hanover Township).  Jennifer Murawski, PT, MPT recently joined the PRHS rehabilitation team with the goal of continuing the company's philosophy of providing patients with one-on-one, personalized care coupled with the use of the latest techniques and equipment in physical therapy services.

A graduate of the University of Scranton, Murawski is a licensed physical therapist who earned a Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Degree in 1996.  Murawski's clinical expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic, sports-related, and post-surgical conditions, including treatment of a variety of diagnoses across all age groups.  Murawski states, "Quality patient care delivered to everyone who walks through the door is my number one priority.  I promise to give each patient individualized treatment specific to his or her diagnosis."  Murawski joins staff physical therapist, Alicia Orlowski, PT, DPT and together the reputable and experienced patient care team will continue to offer area residents quality care they come to expect. 

PHOENIX and Murawski will continue to offer the community flexible patient scheduling, processing of all insurance plans and convenient, free parking.  Using evidence-based treatment techniques that focus on restoring function, reducing pain and preventing injury, the overall goal is to get patients moving and enjoying life again-pain free.  Furthermore, patient education is a large focus as home exercise is key to a successful and long-term recovery, often helping to prevent injury recurrences.  Murawski adds, "I feel the key to quality rehabilitation is having continuous lines of open communication between the therapist, patient, and the patient's physician.  It's a partnership.  If everyone is aware of the goals and plan of care, reaching those goals becomes much easier."
