Success Story

Submitted 02/19/2010

Jeremy (Satisfied Patient), Phoenixville, PA

"I felt compelled to write a quick note regarding the excellent care and treatment I received over the past two months at your Phoenixville location.

I began treatment with Wendy and Tracy at the end of December. In fact, Tracy stayed late on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve to fit me in for a new patient appointment. My orthopeadic physician, [. . . ], initially diagnosed me with scapular diskenesia, as my symptoms presented as severe pain, knots and trigger points in the left shoulder, back and neck. [My orthopeadic physician] administered cortisone injections and recommended that I see Wendy and Tracy at PHOENIX Rehab to begin physical therapy. After about three visits with little or no improvement in the level of pain and the onset of a new symptoms (numbness and tingling in the left arm and hand), Wendy suggested that the problem could be a herniated cervical disc. Wendy also wrote a note to my physician informing him of her suspicion and requesting authorization to add cervical traction to my treatment. I went back to see [my orthopeadic physician] who agreed with Wendy’s assessment and scheduled an MRI. The MRI confirmed a rather severe herniated C 5-6. I began to see progress within about a week and a half after adding cervical traction. I have been pretty much symptom free for almost two weeks now, and finished my last scheduled physical therapy session today. I plan to continue to use many of the stretches and exercises that I learned in PT.

I can’t thank Wendy and Tracy enough. They have both been terrific! Wendy and Tracy are experienced, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. . ."
