Facility Director and Physical Therapist

Location - Corporate Headquarters

PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc. is a physical therapist owned and managed outpatient rehabilitation provider.  Throughout our nineteen-year history, PHOENIX has gradually expanded to include over 60 outpatient centers across PA and the Mid-Atlantic region including VA and DE.  Our services are primarily Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Occupational Medicine delivered in ambulatory settings to patients and employers.  By hiring highly skilled clinicians and providing them autonomy to deliver high quality, on-time and one-on-one care, PHOENIX has created a niche in the rehabilitation services industry where focus is perpetually placed upon clinical care and customer service.  This niche has earned us a substantial market share in each community whereby allowing us to posture for continued growth. 

At this time, we are in search of candidates to join our team of exceptional employees in the following roles:

Facility Directors/Physical Therapists - Mid-Atlantic Region (AL, DE, MD, VA) 

The ideal candidates are practitioners who are able to excel at general orthopedics and sports rehabilitation as well as acute out-patient diagnoses for all types of patients.  The job environments are structured and job expectations are clear. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised. The work requires specialized technical problem solving and ingenuity while working within approved organizational systems and technology, and the demonstration of the values of integrity, quality and caution. 

These positions encompass a defined span of control and opportunities for those who engender trust, demonstrate a sense of urgency and assure consistent achievement of quality standards. The work requires making decisions that support company guidelines authoritatively and quickly. 

Key accountabilities for these roles include:

-              Manage and lead staff and direct the growth and success of the clinic

-              Provide direct one-on-one patient care that is effective and efficient producing industry superior outcomes

-              Develop professional relationships with the community and referral sources to grow and establish the clinic as a leading provider of therapy in the local markets  

Key personal characteristics for success include the following:

-              Ability to work in an autonomous and flexible environment

-              Ability to quickly connect with people in a poised, convincing and enthusiastic way

-              Ability to motivate others

-              Ability to work collaboratively within the organization

-              Ability to recognize a sense of urgency and initiative to complete tasks correctly

-              Ability to understand people and use that understanding to effectively convince others

-              Ability to sell to or persuade others and may entail training others

-              Ability to control all aspects of tasks from initiation to completion


Candidates should possess:

Physical therapy licensure

Minimum of 3‐4 years of clinical experience

Familiarity with the local community and market

Comfortable relationships with referral sources
